9 Because you have made the Lord, who is my refuge, Even the Most High, your dwelling place, 10 No evil shall befall you, Nor shall any plague come near your dwelling; 11 For He shall give His angels charge over you, To keep you in all your ways.
Dear Ones: Your Dwelling Place! Where have you set up camp? Have you put your tent in the valley of death? Or have you set your tent under the shadow of His wings in the secret place? You have the freewill to choose where you will camp. When you make the Lord your refuge in times of trouble, then He will give His angels charge over you to protect you and your family.
The 91st Psalm is especially needed in these troubling times. Most people only quote the first two verses. But it is beneficial to you to sow the seeds of these words of instruction and promise deep into your soul. The psalmist is singing from his experience with the wonders of living under the shadow of His wings. The Lord sings back great words of promise to the ones who have set their love on Him.
May you make the Lord your dwelling place by freely choosing to camp under His protective wings. Let this psalm take you to a place of assurance that He protects those who have given their hearts to Him. Rest under His wings today and throughout the weekend. I bless you in Jesus’ name.
