You will understand later

Dear Ones: You will understand later! The Lord Jesus spoke these words as He was washing the disciples feet before the Last Supper. His words are also for us today. He is moving against the darkness even now. However, we do not have a full understanding of what He is doing. He is continually at work. His ways are not our ways and our ways are not His ways. This is why faith is so vital to our Christian walk and witness.

Faith in our All-Powerful Father destroys worry and anxiety when we see the works of darkness encroaching on our lives. He never slumbers or sleeps. Our Lord watches over us in the day time and in the night hours. He sets a watch in the night and protects the gates of our dwelling places. Though we may not understand His strange work and strategies, we are to trust in His goodness and love for us.

There will come a time when what was hidden will be revealed. Then we will marvel at the wonder of His Power and His perfect plan that destroyed the darkness. The release of His glory and light will transform our lives, our families, and our nation. Let these words of David encourage you in Psalm 27:13, “I would have lost heart, unless I had believed That I would see the goodness of the Lord In the land of the living.”

May you believe that you will understand later how the Lord has been working in your lives. Though His work may seem strange at times, it is a magnificent work. Let faith arise in your All-Powerful God no matter what you see with your natural eyes. His hidden work will be revealed, and He will get all the glory. Have an overcoming day.
