The Sovereign Lord has given me his words of wisdom, so that I know how to comfort the weary. Morning by morning he wakens me and opens my understanding to his will.
Dear Ones: Words of Wisdom! In times of troubles, Christians are the ones who are to be ready with the Lord’s words of wisdom to comfort the weary and frightened ones. Every morning as we wake up, we are to listen to the first thing that comes to our minds. The Holy Spirit likes to impart wisdom for the day at this time.
You may ask, “How do I comfort people when I need comfort myself?” You encourage yourself in the Lord, like David did and Isaiah 40 is a good place to start. Isaiah 40:1, NKJV, starts it off with, “’Comfort, yes, comfort My people!’ Says your God.” As you continue to read verse 11 tells you, “He will feed His flock like a shepherd; He will gather the lambs with His arm, And carry them in His bosom, And gently lead those who are with young.” Finally, verse 31 gives you the Lord’s promise, “But those who wait on the Lord Shall renew their strength; They shall mount up with wings like eagles, They shall run and not be weary, They shall walk and not faint.”
Living Words of Wisdom
The Word of God is alive; it is not a dry textbook filled with facts and figures. It is living and powerful and able to discern the thoughts and intents of the inner man. As you read His words of wisdom, they become golden nuggets of knowledge by which to live your life. It’s a good day to let His word comfort your heart.
Declaration: “I rejoice in the Lord’s words of wisdom as they encourage me morning by morning. His words enable me to comfort those who are weary and frightened in my sphere of influence. He renews my strength like the eagle; I shall run and not be weary. I am an overcomer in Him. Praise the Lord.” Have a great day as His words of wisdom flow from your mouth. I bless you in Jesus’ name.
