Let them praise the Lord for his great love and for the wonderful things he has done for them.
Dear Ones: Wonderful Things! Only our LORD can do the wonders that no human can. The psalmist instructs the people to remember the wonders done for them. He calls them to praise the name of their Wonder-Working God. The gist of this verse is to remember to be grateful for the things HE has done for you.
Yes, even when sitting on an ash heap of troubles, it is a good time to remember HE is the Wonder-Worker. Nothing is too difficult for HIM. HE is more than able to take care of HIS children no matter what condition the world is in. In times of famine, Isaac reaped a hundred-fold from his fields. In 3 ½ years of drought, HE had the ravens feed the prophet. HE provided a treasure of oil for the prophet’s widow when she only had a cruse of oil in the house. They gathered many pots and she poured out oil filling them all. Wonder-Worker!
HE loves all of HIS children as if they are an only child. What HE did for Isaac, the prophet, and the widow HE will do for those who believe in HIM. Wonder-Working is part of Who HE is. HE withholds nothing good from those who are washed in the Blood of HIS Son.
May wonderful things happen for you this week. Call on our Wonder-Working God in all situations and see HIS hand move for you and yours. It is a good day to remember to praise HIM for what HE has already done. Then expect more. Have a wonder filled week. I bless you in Jesus’ name.
