I bless the holy name of God with all my heart. 2 Yes, I will bless the Lord and not forget the glorious things he does for me. 3 He forgives all my sins. He heals me. 4 He ransoms me from hell. He surrounds me with loving-kindness and tender mercies. 5 He fills my life with good things! My youth is renewed like the eagle’s!
Dear Ones: With All My Heart! Wholehearted devotion is to be completely and sincerely devoted, determined, or enthusiastic, free from all reserve or hesitation. There are times when we must do a heart check-up to examine our relationship with the Lord. We may ask, “Am I truly wholehearted in my devotion to Him?” This is a very personal question. It is not really a yes or no question.
We must be truthful with ourselves because the Lord already knows the condition of our relationship with Him. The cares of the world come to destroy our alone time with Him. The pressure of surviving and paying bills eats up our attention. The parable of the Sower and the Seed explains the need to keep sowing the Seed of His Word into our minds if we expect a harvest of His goodness in our lives.
Go to the Holy Spirit and ask Him, “Am I loving the Lord with all of my heart?” He will show you the truth and give you guidance on how to make corrections if needed. Our Lord is a personal God whose unfailing love is extended toward us even when we neglect our private times with Him. Let gratitude arise as you recount the glorious blessings, He has showered upon you.
May you whisper to Him, “I love you with all of my heart.” Fill His ears with your words of love and gratitude. He will respond by restoring your youth and showering you with an abundance of good things. Be His grateful overcomer today. I bless you in Jesus’ name.
