Wells of Salvation

Joyfully you’ll pull up buckets of water from the wells of salvation. And as you do it, you’ll say, “Give thanks to God. Call out his name. Ask him anything! Shout to the nations, tell them what he’s done, spread the news of his great reputation!”
Isaiah 12:3 (MSG)

Dear Ones: Wells of Salvation! This is a very short chapter dedicated to praising the Lord God. Shout and tell those around you what He did for you. That means to give your testimony with great passion.

In John 7:38 the Lord said, “He who believes in Me, as the Scripture has said, out of his heart will flow rivers of living water.” This living water is likened to your testimony of how He touched your life. In a sense, you become a well of salvation as you give your witness of His goodness to others. Those who hear you are encouraged to believe that He is willing and able to help them, too. Sometimes you need to stir up this well to remind yourself what the Lord has done. Then your confession becomes, “Do it again, Lord!”

The Living Water well that resides in every born-again Christian also represents the indwelling presence of the Holy Spirit. How marvelous are the Father’s provisions given to those who are in Christ! You get to drink of the water from the wells of salvation that reside in you and pour it out onto others around you. Your testimony is a great weapon to use against the attacks of the dark one directed at your mind. No one can take your testimony away from you. What the Lord has done in your life—IS DONE!

May you rejoice today as you draw buckets of Living Waters from the Wells of Salvation, today. Shout praises about His goodness and great reputation of His faithfulness. Your testimony is powerful. You are an atmosphere changer because you carry His presence wherever you go. Have an overcoming weekend. I bless you in Jesus’ name.
