Beware that no one distracts you or intimidates you in their attempt to lead you away from Christ’s fullness by pretending to be full of wisdom when they’re filled with endless arguments of human logic. For they operate with humanistic and clouded judgments based on the mindset of this world system, and not the anointed truths of the Anointed One.For he is the complete fullness of deity living in human form. And our own completeness is now found in him. We are completely filled with God as Christ’s fullness overflows within us. He is the Head of every kingdom and authority in the universe!
Dear Ones: We are completely filled! These words of Paul to the Christians of Colosse are also for us today. When we are born again, we do not receive an eyedropper of His presence but fullness. We are completely filled with God as His fullness overflows in us. WOW! The King of kings and Lord of lords comes and dwells in us—those who have received Him as Lord and Savior.
We understand what is involved with Him being our Savior, but do we understand His Lordship? He is the Head of every kingdom. That includes the spirit, soul, and body of everyone who receives salvation. Does He rule in your hearts? Do you seek Him first in all of your affairs? We are the only ones who can deny Him access to the depths of our beings by a freewill choice to reject His rulership. Let us choose to allow His divine nature in us to rule and defeat the attacks of the darkness. In this way we become more than a conqueror in Him.
May you come to understand the words, “we are completely filled,” as you learn to walk in the fullness of your inheritance in Him. Then this fullness will overflow to those in your sphere of influence. Think on these things today. It is a good day to rejoice in being completely filled with His presence.
