7 They brought in the two disciples and demanded, “By what power, or in whose name, have you done this?” 8 Then Peter, filled with the Holy Spirit, said to them, … “10 Let me clearly state to all of you and to all the people of Israel that he was healed by the powerful name of Jesus Christ the Nazarene, the man you crucified but whom God raised from the dead.”
Dear Ones: There is great power in the Name of our LORD Jesus Christ. Our culture has abused HIS name by making it an expletive or a common phrase to express emotions. But the powerful name of Jesus, our King, is to be used as a weapon against the minions of darkness. It is to be respected and honored in every way.
As we are in the 2022 season of Lent, let us be mindful of the greatness and the power of HIS name. Our King paid the price for our eternal salvation. All of Heaven reverences HIS name and we should also.
May the power in the name of our King purge the atmosphere around you this day. Use it against that which is troubling you and experience the delivering power of HIS awesome name. Have an overcoming day. I bless you in Jesus’ name.
