Sing to the Lord, O Earth, Declare each day that he is the one who saves!
Dear Ones: The One Who Saves! We are to sing to the Lord, like David did while he watched over his father’s sheep. We sing because He makes our joy overflow with His saving goodness. Making a joyful noise to the One Who saves us changes the very atmosphere around us. When we fill the earth with song, even nature responds favorably. Habakkuk 2:14 prophesies, “For the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the Lord, as the waters cover the sea.”
Revelation 12:11 tells us, “And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony.” Singing from the depth of our souls is one way to release our testimony about His goodness and mercy. When we proclaim His saving goodness in song, our joy counteracts the negative thought bombs launched at our minds by the enemy. Nehemiah 8:10 reveals, “The joy of the Lord is our strength.”
The Lord loves to give us personal song lyrics to sing back to Him while we commune with Him in the secret place. He delights in hearing our joy released in this manner. Don’t be intimated by the enemy who comes to mock your singing voice. He is a liar and hates the sound of our praise about the One Who saves us. Sing to an audience of ONE and know He is pleased.
Take time today to sing joyfully to the One Who saves you, your family, and your nation from the power of darkness. Let your testimony reshape the very atmosphere around you with melodies of praise. Declare His goodness and mercy endure forever. It is a good day to let your joy spill out on everyone you meet. I bless you in Jesus’ name.
