I want to know Christ and experience the mighty power that raised him from the dead.
Dear Ones: The Mighty Power! In his letter to the Philippians, Paul reveals that we can experience resurrection power on this side of heaven. Born-again, spirit-filled believers have Holy Spirit dwelling in them. Holy Spirit is a powerhouse of Resurrection Life as Paul explains in Romans 8:11. “But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you.”
This mighty power source is accessed by faith in the life, death, and Resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ. He declared that He would never leave nor forsake anyone who believes in Him. This is good news to remember when the minions of darkness attack. Fear, doubt, unbelief, stress, depression, sickness, and disease are just a few of the agents of the evil one that roam about seeking to do harm.
But we are overcomers in and through Christ. The magnificent victory of the Cross is more powerful and far-reaching than we have yet to experience. Paul’s words encourage us to press in for the fullness of our inheritance in Christ through the Cross. Access to the mighty power of Resurrection Life is part of that inheritance. Let’s not neglect to take advantage of our spiritual birthright and exercise His authority over all the power of darkness.
May the mighty power of Resurrection Life rise up in you today. Use your spiritual birthright and exercise His authority in every challenging situation that you are facing today. Believe that Resurrection Life is flowing in you and through you. You are an overcomer in Him. I bless you in Jesus’ name.
