The Lord looks down from heaven on the entire human race; he looks to see if anyone is truly wise, if anyone seeks God.
Dear Ones: The Lord Looks! Yes, nothing in creation, especially on earth, is hidden from His sight. He searches the hearts of everyone looking for those who truly seek Him. In Zechariah’s vision of the lampstands and olive trees, it is revealed that the lampstands represent the eyes of the Lord. Zechariah 4:10, NKJV, explains, “They are the eyes of the Lord, which scan to and fro throughout the whole earth.”
What is the purpose of this search? Is His intent to do harm and bring harsh judgement? No, it is just the opposite as we discover in 2 Chronicles 16:9, KJV. “For the eyes of the Lord run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to shew himself strong in the behalf of them whose heart is perfect toward him.” The Lord looks to bless His people. He is not the taskmaster, but the One Who sent His Son to save mankind from the evil one and his minions.
As you go about your daily activity, it is good to be mindful that the Lord looks upon you. He knows the thoughts and intentions of your heart. He desires to bless you, so, He is looking for every opportunity to do it. The blessings He releases are for you, your family, and those in your sphere of influence. Yes, the eyes of the Lord are searching for reasons to shower great blessings upon those who love Him. Enjoy His attention. I bless you in Jesus’ name.
