In this video we study the Law of the Spirit of Life. Romans 8:2 is a one of those spiritual portals that exist in the Word of God. As we dig into it and track related verses we discover greater spiritual understanding of the magnificent work of the Cross. We are no longer to live under the law of sin and death, but are to live as overcomers through and in Christ. We clearly see that through sin death entered into the world as the fallen age of darkness ruled by satan took over mankind’s dominion rights. But what is this “incipient death” that Brother Lake referred to? The 1828 Merriam Webster Dictionary defines incipient as “the beginnings of or the commencing of something.” That is why his sermon notes state that sickness and diseases are incipient death: the beginnings of death encroaching on the life of the flesh. We call the deterioration of our flesh the aging process. But Adam and Eve were never supposed to die. Spiritual and physical death only entered into this earth realm because of their sin of rebellion committed in the garden. The Father’s blueprint for the creation of male and female bodies contained physical mechanisms that worked with the glory to keep their bodies from deterioration and diseases.
