In this video we continue our study of the Kingdom: The Kingdom of Light. The spiritual war between the light and the darkness has raged since before Adam fell. The present age of darkness fell upon the earth realm when Adam betrayed the LORD God in the garden. But the war started in Heaven when Lucifer and his followers tried to take the throne from God. As Christians we are of the Light and are called to enforce the Lord’s victory over the dark one and his minions. Here is a short excerpt from the video transcript to give you a taste of the material we cover.
In the natural world, darkness and light cannot coexist with one another. When Light comes, darkness flees. There is no compromise: day drives away the night and darkness comes as daylight ebbs. It is similar concerning spiritual things. Paul expresses it this way in 2 Corinthians 6:14b-15a, AMP, “For what partnership can righteousness have with lawlessness? Or what fellowship can light have with darkness? What harmony can there be between Christ and Belial (Satan)?” The answer to these three questions is NONE! The kingdom of Light and the kingdom of darkness are mutually exclusive. That means they have no common ground, overlap, or point of similarity to one another. Peter explains it this way in 1 Peter 2:9, TLB. “… for you have been chosen by God himself—you are priests of the King, you are holy and pure, you are God’s very own—all this so that you may show to others how God called you out of the darkness into his wonderful light.”
