The Grace of God

Remember this: sin will not conquer you, for God already has! You are not governed by law but governed by the reign of the grace of God.
Romans 6:14 TPT

Dear Ones: The Grace of God! Oh, what wonderful gifts and weapons we have been given through the work of the Cross of Christ. Grace is usually defined as unmerited favor. But for the born-again believer it is also God’s enabling power to know and to do His will. This second definition is more descriptive to the working of grace in us as we pursue Christlikeness in our daily lives.

We are to be governed by the reign of the grace of God working in us. That enabling power to know and to do His will is essential to anything that we do. John 15:5, AMP, explains it this way. “I am the Vine; you are the branches. The one who remains in Me and I in him bears much fruit, for [otherwise] apart from Me [that is, cut off from vital union with Me] you can do nothing.” When we are in vital union with Christ, we become governed by the reign of His grace doing His work through us. It is a matter of choosing to stay in Him like the natural branch is melded into the natural vine.

Declaration: “As a spiritual branch, I choose to stay in Him and receive the Grace of God every day. I need His enabling power so that I will know and do His will. Like the natural branch, I desire to produce good Kingdom fruit and to enjoy the blessings that come from obedience to His Word. I am a fruitful overcomer by the Grace of God working in me.” Have a bless day in Jesus’ name.
