In this video we discuss the Glory and the Goodness of God. Moses had encounters with the glory of God, yet he thirsted for something more. He asked to see God’s glory, but the Lord said that He would pass His goodness before Moses. This started us looking into the Glory and the Goodness of God. Here is a short excerpt from the video transcript to give you a taste of the material we cover.

Moses had just dealt with the people concerning the golden calf Aaron fashioned for them while he was on Mount Sinai receiving the tablets of the Lord’s commands. He had spent 40 days and nights in the Presence of the Lord and yet when he returned, the weight of leadership and his disappointment with the people’s sin weighed heavily upon his soul. He needed more than just seeing the pillar of fire and the glory cloud from a distance. This request revealed a deep desire for even greater intimacy with God than what Moses had experienced up until this time. He had experienced the glory of God, which whetted his desire for even more. He wanted a more personal knowledge of God’s manifest presence and His ways. Moses thirsted for the tangible presence of God’s glory so much that he finally vocalized his heart-felt desire to the Lord.
