The faithful love of the Lord never ends! His mercies never cease. Great is his faithfulness; his mercies begin afresh each morning. I say to myself, “The Lord is my inheritance; therefore, I will hope in him!”
Dear Ones: The Faithful Love of the Lord! Lamentations is not one of the Bible books that is often quoted. But it has golden nuggets that are worth reading. The definition of lament is to mourn or show strong grief. If we look around at the natural circumstances of life we may fall into a season of lamentation.
But here we have the antidote for this condition: Hope in Him! He is faithful. His mercies never cease for those who are called His children and run to Him in times like what we are experiencing. The writer talks to himself to encourage his soul by remembering the Lord is his inheritance. If you are a true believer in Christ, then you are qualified to partake of the inheritance of the saints in the Light, so rejoice in Hope.
Declare: “The faithful love of the Lord surrounds me as I go about my day. My soul is encouraged even when the world seems dark. Because the Light of His presence illuminates my path. I joyfully and gratefully partake of the great inheritance I have in Christ, today. Praise the Lord!” Have an overcoming day. I bless you in Jesus’ name.
