The eyes of the Lord are on the righteous, And His ears are open to their cry.
Dear Ones: The Eyes of the Lord! They are always watching over His righteous people. His ears are open when they call out to Him in faith. These are comforting words. Sow them deeply in your heart. So, when the enemy comes to plant doubt in your mind about the goodness of God toward you, you can swing the Sword of the Spirit and defeat him.
The next tactic the enemy uses is to condemn you as unrighteous and do not qualify for His mercy. When those thought bombs come at you, use 2 Corinthians 5:21 against them. “For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.” When you stand before the Father, He sees you through the work of the Cross. Jesus’ righteousness is accounted to those who call Him Savior and Lord. Be quick to repent when the Holy Spirit nudges you about something. Remember, the Blood washes away all sin and stain when true repentance is exercised. The ability to repent and apply the Blood of Christ is a great gift to every born-again, spirit-filled Christian.
The fact that the eyes of the Lord are always watching you should affect your manner of life. He hears your words, too. So be careful how you use your words for they are a creative force for either good or bad. Remember, God created the worlds by releasing the Word: Let There Be! His watchful eyes are not looking to find a way to disqualify you but to bless you. You are an overcomer, so live like one and speak like one. I bless you in Jesus’ name.
