In this video we study the Atmosphere of Heaven. The Lord commanded us to pray “on earth as it is in Heaven.” We dig into the Word to let the Spirit guide us how we are to obey His command. Here is an excerpt from the video transcript to give you an idea of the lesson content.
As part of the Lord’s Prayer, this is a well-known verse to Christians and non-Christian alike. The Lord taught His disciples, past, present, and future, to petition the Father to manifest His Kingdom on earth as it is in heaven. In a real sense, He instructed believers to call for the atmosphere of heaven to be manifested in their midst, in the here and now, in their daily lives. As we read further into the book of Matthew, we realize that the Kingdom of Heaven is referenced quite frequently. In fact, using the NKJV, we discover the term “the Kingdom of Heaven” is used 32 times in Matthew. Hence, we can surmise that one of the purposes of this Gospel was to help teach and expound on the virtues, attributes, and importance of the Kingdom of Heaven.
