Thanksgiving Thoughts: Psalm 136

2 Oh, give thanks to the God of gods! For His mercy endures forever.

Psalm 136

Dear Ones: Upon reading the book of Psalms, you see this verse repeated quite often. When the Spirit says something once it is important. In the mouths of two or three witnesses a thing is established according to the Scriptures. But when it appears in the Holy Writ over and over again there is an overwhelming need to be mindful of what is being said or instructed to be said. Why do we give HIM thanks, because HIS mercy toward us, those who call on HIS name, endures forever. No matter what our current circumstances look like, HIS mercy and grace are extended toward us because Christ lives in us. Under the Old Covenant they had the foreshadowing of the Cross that was counted for them. But we are under the New Covenant certified by HIS Blood which is far greater than before.

May HIS mercy enfold you and strengthen you this day. May the joyful sound of thanksgiving erupt from your mouth and bring the atmosphere of heaven on earth. May you enjoy the benefits of the inheritance of the Kingdom of Light as you go about your daily duties. Have an overcoming day. I bless you in Jesus’ name.
