Thanksgiving Thoughts: Psalm 119

62 At midnight I will rise to give thanks to You, Because of Your righteous judgments.

Psalm 119

Dear Ones: Continuing in the theme of Thanksgiving, I release this verse to you today. Many times we find ourselves looking at the clock instead of sleeping a peaceful sleep. The events of the day rehash in our minds and the voice of the tormentor comes to stir up fear and anxiety. But this verse holds the key to turning off the voices that are plaguing you. Begin to give thanks to the LORD, like David did at Ziklag. Thank HIM that HE has all things under control and that HIS righteous judgments will come to your defense. If you do this, then you will find your sweet sleep will come as HIS peace and comfort enfold you in HIS love.

May the comfort of the LORD fill your soul and give you a refreshment that goes far beyond what we can imagine. May you rest in confident assurance that HIS righteous judgments are vindicating you. May HIS mercy bring you joy as you see all the forces of darkness aligned against you fade at the presence of HIS glory. Have an overcoming day in the LORD. I bless you in Jesus’ name.
