Now on Rumble: Sit With Me
Paul is continuing to move our videos off of YouTube and onto Rumble. This is a precautionary measure because YouTube has been known to be unfriendly to the Christian posters on their site.
In this video, we study the Lord’s letter to the Laodicean Church. Like the Sardis letter, He cannot commend these believers for anything. The Lord is very graphic about the level of disgust He has for their self-satisfied ways. But there are still promises made to the ones who will listen to His rebuke and repent. Here is an excerpt from the video transcript to give you an idea of the lesson content.
The great compassion of the Lord is truly evident in His dealings with this self-satisfied, self-righteous, and in-need-of-nothing group of believers. He is not speaking to the lost ones living in Laodicea; He is addressing all of the members of the congregations in this city that call themselves Christians. He desires to restore them and to bless them with a great reward for heeding His rebuke. “If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land” (2 Chronicles 7:14, NKJV).
