Saving Power

But for you who obey me, my saving power will rise on you like the sun and bring healing like the sun’s rays. You will be as free and happy as calves let out of a stall.
Malachi 4:2 (GNT)

Dear Ones: Saving Power! The prophet Malachi transcribed this Word of the Lord that promised healing and joy to those who obeyed His commands. This promise of His saving power also belongs to those who are in Christ. The new covenant certified by the Blood of Christ is a far better covenant than that of the Old Testament as revealed in Hebrews 8:6. “But now He has obtained a more excellent ministry, inasmuch as He is also Mediator of a better covenant, which was established on better promises.”

Power of the Cross

The saving power of the Cross will never lose its supremacy over all the forces of darkness. We have yet to plumb the depth of the greatness of His victory in our lives. But we have our part to do as explained in Romans 12:1-2, NLT, “And so, dear brothers and sisters, I plead with you to give your bodies to God because of all he has done for you. Let them be a living and holy sacrifice—the kind he will find acceptable. This is truly the way to worship him. Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God’s will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect.”

The more we cooperate with the saving power of the Cross, the faster our minds are renewed to be aligned with His will and purposes for our lives. Remember, the end goal of Christianity is to be conformed to the image of Christ. (See Romans 8:29-30.) The Holy Spirit is your Teacher and Guide Who was sent to facilitate your transformation.

Declare today, that His saving power is rising up on you like the sun rises in the morning. Rejoice as you are set free from the bonds of darkness that have confined you. Receive your healing and enjoy being His child. I bless you in Jesus’ name.
