The same One who has put seed into the hands of the sower and brought bread to fill our stomachs will provide and multiply the resources you invest and produce an abundant harvest from your righteous actions
Dear Ones: Resources You Invest! The Lord invests in us giving us resources we need to live and prosper. We in turn invest these resources into our families, neighbors, and other places where the Lord directs. When we do this, then our godly flow of resources will multiply because of our generosity.
Our God is a generous God. Romans 8:32 reveals the magnitude of His generous heart, “He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things?” Then Ephesians 5:1 encourages us this way, “Therefore be imitators of God as dear children.”
But the world system does not promote generosity. It promotes scarcity which engenders fear and hoarding. In fact, there is a familiar saying, “No good deed goes unpunished.” In a sense, it is a warning that a generous heart is not respected by our culture and leaves one open to adverse outcomes or criticisms. So, we should not look to the accolades of men when we imitate God’s generous heart. It is God who will multiply our resources in spite of the culture.
Be glad today that the resources you invest will produce a godly harvest as you imitate the Lord. Seek His affirmation through His Word when you do this. Don’t let the naysayers affect your generosity. Remember, the Lord blesses the one who has a generous heart. Have a prosperous day. I bless you in Jesus’ name.
