Those with knowledge know when to be quiet, and those with understanding know how to remain calm.
Dear Ones: Remain Calm! Yes, in these chaotic times, we can remain calm knowing that our God is working things out for our good. Paul reminds us in Romans 8:28, VOICE. “We are confident that God is able to orchestrate everything to work toward something good and beautiful when we love Him and accept His invitation to live according to His plan.”
We have a choice to either allow our emotions to rule our lives or to exercise self-control over them. When the circumstances of our lives seem to be going in the wrong direction, then self-control is our safe harbor from stress. As we enter into this safe harbor, we can remain calm even in the most pressure filled times. Faith in His delivering power rises up because we understand He is always working to bless us. Like Isaac who reaped a great harvest in days of famine, we shall reap blessings because His favor brings it to us.
Declare: “I will remain calm knowing that this difficulty must give way to the Lord’s blessing. Today, I choose to exercise His self-control over my emotions. I walk by faith in His faithfulness and not by sight or emotions. Like Isaac, I will reap a huge number of blessings because of the favor that He showers upon me and my family. It is a good day to be a child of God. Praise the Lord!” Have a blessed day in Jesus’ name.
