For I know that my Redeemer and Vindicator lives, And at the last He will take His stand upon the earth. … Christ purchased our freedom and redeemed us from the curse of the Law and its condemnation by becoming a curse for us—for it is written, “Cursed is everyone who hangs [crucified] on a tree (cross)”
Dear Ones: Redeemer and Vindicator! We continue to bask in the celebration of the Resurrection of Christ and what it means to us. The depth of the benefits we have through the Cross are still unfolding before us. The curse of the law of sin and death has been broken. Christians are free people. However, we must exercise our freewill to operate in this freedom in accordance with His ways.
As our Redeemer and Vindicator, our Lord, has given us the right to exercise His authority over all the power of the enemy. (See Romans 8:2.) But the crux of the matter is we must choose to resist and use the power that is available to us. When the accusing voice of the tormentor comes with thought bombs, we are to reject and dismiss them for they are not from the Lord. This is why knowing what the Word says about us is so important. When physical symptoms arise suddenly in our bodies, we must not think that the Lord has sent them to correct us in some way. That is “stinking thinking.” Our Redeemer and Vindicator triumphed over all sickness and disease and gave us the law of the Spirit of Life to rule over our bodies.
Declare today that your Redeemer and Vindicator has delivered you from the curse of sin and death. Speak victory over all the lies and symptoms that have come against you or your family. The Lord said, “It is finished.” Now you get to use His authority to enforce His victory in your life. Have an overcoming day. I bless you in Jesus’ name.
