The weapons of the war we’re fighting are not of this world but are powered by God and effective at tearing down the strongholds erected against His truth.
Dear Ones: Powered by God! We are in the throes of an intense spiritual war. This war cannot be won by using the world’s weapons. We need God powered weapons to defeat the minions of darkness and their evil weaponry. Our Father knew what tools we would need to destroy the works of the enemy. The enemy always attacks the truth of God’s Word. He sets up fortresses or strongholds over people, governments, or any area that influences the culture and the people.
Christians are not defenseless victims but were born (re-born) with the DNA of our Warrior Savior, Christ our King. The mindset of victimhood is powered by the dark forces of the enemy, such as, lies, doubt, unbelief, and fear to name a few. But we have weapons powered by God, Himself. The Lord Jesus confirms this truth in John 14:12, VOICE. “I tell you the truth: whoever believes in Me will be able to do what I have done, but they will do even greater things, because I will return to be with the Father.”
We know that Jesus was powered by God because Acts 10:38, TLB. “And you no doubt know that Jesus of Nazareth was anointed by God with the Holy Spirit and with power, and he went around doing good and healing all who were possessed by demons, for God was with him.”
Believe that you have been given mighty weapons to fight the enemy powered by God. Rejoice that you are an overcomer and that the Greater One lives in you. Read about your mighty weapons in the Word and tear down the stronghold of victimhood from your mind. You are an overcomer. I bless you in Jesus’ name.
