Patience will benefit You

Having the last word is better than having the first, and patience will benefit you more than pride.
Ecclesiastes 7:8 (VOICE)

Dear Ones: Patience will benefit You! That is the last thing we want to hear when the pressures of daily living are weighing heavily upon us. But this is a true statement, we just need to practice it.

What do you mean—practice patience? Is it a sport? Or is it a formula that works all the time? NO! It is none of these things. It is also not a passive activity. Patience is born out of faith. James 1:3b, VOICE, confirms to us that, “Your faith will blossom under pressure and teach you true patience as you endure. And true patience brought on by endurance will equip you to complete the long journey and cross the finish line—mature, complete, and wanting nothing.”

Therefore, we learn that patience and faith are interwoven in such a way that they feed off one another. The seed of patience grows in the delay that happens as we wait upon the Lord to receive the answers to our prayers. Faith draws on hope knowing that the Lord is more than able to bring us out of the wilderness as overcomers. Patience is our traveling companion that releases the rest of the Lord during our wilderness journey.

Declare: “I believe this word that tells me that patience will benefit you. As my faith blossoms during times of pressure, I will rest in patience knowing You are with me. The final outcome of this challenge will bring me to a better place than where I started from. I am growing in faith as patience accompanies me through this ordeal. God be Praise!” Have a blessed day in Jesus’ name.
