Old Things Have Passed

Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.
2 Corinthians 5:17 (NKJV)

Dear Ones: Old Things Have Passed! As the old year passes away, let us look to the new year as an opportunity to walk as a new creation in Christ. The born-again spirit filled believer is a new order of human being: indwelt by the spirit of God and partaking of His divine nature.

At the end of a calendar year, it is a good time to review the previous 12 months with the guidance of the Holy Spirit. He will show you what to take with you into the new year and what to leave behind. Take with you the lessons you learned about His goodness, mercy, and grace that you experienced. Leave in the trash heap of history the ugly, demeaning, and lying words of the enemy’s attacks he launched against you. Remember, you are more than a conqueror in Christ, Jesus. You are the head and not the tail. Then walk in the full knowledge of His life in you, so that  you will enter the new year as an overcomer and not a victim of the darkness.

Declaration: “I believe that the old things have passed away and I enter the new year as an overcomer in Christ. This new year will be my breakout year. I leave the old burdens, sicknesses and fears of 2024 behind me and enter into a new season of victory in Christ my Lord. Thank You, Father, for giving me a new year to experience the wonders of Your presence, power, and love. Praise the LORD!” Have blessed and safe New Year (2025) in Jesus’ name.
