Nothing Too Hard

Ah, Lord God! Behold, You have made the heavens and the earth by Your great power and outstretched arm. There is nothing too hard for You.
Jeremiah 32:17

Dear Ones: Nothing Too Hard! Was Jeremiah thinking of Moses and Israel at the Red Sea? Was he considering David facing Goliath? Did his thoughts go to Joshua looking at the walls of Jericho? We know that Jeremiah was declaring the greatness of the Lord God no matter what was happening in the natural world around him.

Judah was under attack by the Chaldeans and Jeremiah was constantly imprisoned because he dared to speak truth to the ruling authorities: governmental and religious. Yet, he encouraged himself with the knowledge that there was nothing too hard for his God.

We may find ourselves in similar circumstances. Our natural way of life has been turned upside down and it seems like there is no relief in sight. BUT we have a better covenant than Jeremiah had in his day. We have the victory of our King Jesus through the Cross. The Father’s gracious love and compassion are extended to us because through Christ we are His children. These are good things to remember when the pressure of living in these dark times tries to crash in on us.

May your declaration be like Jeremiah’s, “There is Nothing too Hard for my God!” See the giants fall, the walls collapse, and the seas part as you make your declaration. He is greater than great. He lives in you and His power infuses your entire being. You are an overcomer in Him. I bless you in Jesus’ name.
