But blessed are those who trust in the Lord and have made the Lord their hope and confidence. They are like trees planted along a riverbank, with roots that reach deep into the water. Such trees are not bothered by the heat or worried by long months of drought. Their leaves stay green, and they never stop producing fruit.
Dear Ones: Never Stop Producing Fruit! Jeremiah lived during a time when the people of Israel were backslidden. He was called as a young man to bring the Word of God to a people who knowingly stopped their ears to God’s voice. Therefore, Jeremiah wept over the hardness of the hearts of the people and their leaders: governmental and religious.
We can identify with Jeremiah as we look at the chaos, corruption, and ungodly life style promoted by the media. But in the midst of all of the corruption, Jeremiah declares that the ones who trust in the Lord know that their hope and confidence are well placed in Him. Like trees with deep roots that access the deep waters of life, we never stop producing fruit in these hard times.
The fruits of a Christian’s life are listed in Galatians 5:22-23, NLT. “But the Holy Spirit produces this kind of fruit in our lives: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. There is no law against these things!” We are never to stop producing this fruit.
Make your declaration today, “I will never stop producing fruit for the Kingdom of Light. Everyday gives me a chance to release the fruit of His presence into the very atmosphere around me. I am an overcomer and a fruitful branch.” I bless you in Jesus’ name.
