10 Hear, O Lord, and have mercy on me; Lord, be my helper!” 11 You have turned for me my mourning into dancing; You have put off my sackcloth and clothed me with gladness, 12 To the end that my glory may sing praise to You and not be silent. O Lord my God, I will give thanks to You forever.
Dear Ones: Mourning into Dancing is how the Lord works things out for those who will rest in Him. Even during the darkest times, the Lord is working His plan to bless those who call upon the Name of the Lord. Our part is to remember His goodness no matter what we see with our eyes or hear with our natural ears.
Storms of life come and go. They bring turmoil and leave debris in our lives. The enemy comes to highlight the pain and loss so we will not look to the One Who can turn our mourning into dancing. However, when we come to ourselves and call upon His name, His mercy rises up to deliver and restore. Yes, in the restoration things come that we would never have received expect for the trial of the storm. None of this is easy on the natural self. But it is in the wilderness journey that we truly get to know the goodness and mercy of our Lord.
May you learn to dance in the presence of your enemies. As the dawning of a new day comes after the storm has passed, so will your joy explode as His hand delivers you out of all your difficulties. Think on these things this weekend. I bless you in Jesus’ name.
