Dear Ones: Mercy and Truth! They are traveling companions in the spirit realm. Some translations use kindness and long suffering instead of mercy, but the connotations are the same. When I searched for “mercy and truth” in the NKJV I found 20 instances of them occurring together. This is something to consider.
When the mercy of the Lord is extended to us, then the truth has a pathway into our hearts and keeps us from stumbling. The truth in the Word of God is an absolute. He cannot lie and He is forever faithful to perform His Word. The taskmaster is the dark one who wants to destroy, steal, or kill whatever is of God. But He will send forth His mercy and truth to defend us and keep us on the right path.
May your heart be comforted that His mercy and truth are sent out on your behalf today. They pave the path you walk in this life and are working for you every step of the way. Consider these things today as you face the challenges of the day. I bless you in Jesus’ name.
