Let the Peace

Let the peace of heart that comes from Christ be always present in your hearts and lives, for this is your responsibility and privilege as members of his body. And always be thankful.
Colossians 3:15 (TLB)

Dear Ones: Let the Peace! This verse implies that we are to choose to permit the peace of Christ to flood our hearts. This is our privilege and responsibility as believers. Our heart or inner man is not the fleshly pumper that beats in our chest. It is the essence of our soul (mind, will, and emotions) that is referenced here. This is why we must choose with our freewill to allow His peace in to drive out the chaotic thought bombs of the enemy.

Because we have this privilege to be saturated with His peace, we should always be thankful. Peace has traveling companions of love and joy. It looks at the storms of life from the calm of the eye of the storm. The Master specially left us His peace as stated in John 14:27, AMP. “Peace I leave with you; My [perfect] peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Do not let your heart be troubled, nor let it be afraid. [Let My perfect peace calm you in every circumstance and give you courage and strength for every challenge.]” His peace, love, and joy will keep you and yours even in the most troubling situations.

Declaration: “I choose this day to let the peace of Christ flood my soul. As I am filled with His peace, I release it to everyone in my sphere of influence. The atmosphere on my job, in my home, and in my car is permeated with the peace of the Lord. I am an atmosphere changer, water-walker, and an overcomer filled with His peace. Praise the Lord!” Have a blessed and peace-filled day in Jesus’ name.
