34 Wait passionately for God, don’t leave the path. He’ll give you your place in the sun while you watch the wicked lose it. 35-36 I saw Wicked bloated like a toad, croaking pretentious nonsense. The next time I looked there was nothing—a punctured bladder, vapid and limp.
Dear Ones: In the Wait the flesh gets frustrated. However, we are to stay on HIS path for it leads to victory. When we see the wicked ones gloating in their positions of authority, it is hard on our sense of justice. But the LORD has the last word in all of it. David’s words bring comfort to our souls because he learned these truths while running from Saul. God deals with the wicked in HIS timing. Their end is not good. But the ones who wait on HIM will be promoted by HIM.
Consider these things today. We learn many things in the Wait about HIS goodness and justice. HIS mercy is extended to all, but there is a time that the wicked reap what they sowed. Have an overcoming day in the LORD. I bless you in Jesus’ name.
