In peace I will both lie down and sleep, for You, Lord, alone make me dwell in safety and confident trust.
Dear Ones: In Peace! You can sleep because of Him. It seems that the voice of the tormentor likes to wait for us to get in bed before he starts with his incessant attacks on our minds. But the truth is we do not have to listen to him. Like our TV sound controller, we have the power to mute the voice of the tormentor.
Use the name of our LORD Jesus and deny his voice access to your mind. Use your mute button in Jesus’ name. Declare the peace of the Lord resides in your mind and there is no room for the voice of the enemy to infiltrate. Then turn over and go to sleep. Sleep the restful sleep of the one who dwells safely in His care.
May you sleep tonight in peace, the peace of the Lord. Know that His peace will cause you to dwell in safety wherever you go even in your dreams. Let confident trust in His might calm your soul even in your waking hours. Have a safe and peaceful day in the Lord. I bless you in Jesus’ name.
