That evening they brought to him many who were oppressed by demons, and he cast out the spirits with a word and healed all who were sick.
Dear Ones: Healed All! Yes, that is what happened. All those who were sick were healed of their afflictions. Demons were sent packing, and the manifestation of the Kingdom of Light was demonstrated in power. This is our King Jesus. He is the same yesterday, today, and forever.
Christians are given the right and responsibility to walk in the Master’s footsteps. John 14:12, AMP, accurately recorded the Lord’s words concerning our rights and responsibilities. “I assure you and most solemnly say to you, anyone who believes in Me [as Savior] will also do the things that I do; and he will do even greater things than these [in extent and outreach], because I am going to the Father.” Don’t draw back from praying for those who are suffering with afflictions. There is no need for grandiose, ceremonial prayers. From a heart filled with faith in the One Who healed all, speak life and deliverance from spirits of infirmity.
Reread the verse from Matthew and then the verse from John. Believe that the Christ who lives in you is able to heal all. If He healed all on that day long ago, then He is able and willing to do it today. The Word of God––your sword––is powerful and alive. Begin to use it today and be the overcomer you were created to be. I bless you in Jesus’ name.
