If you don’t know what you’re doing, pray to the Father. He loves to help. You’ll get his help, and won’t be condescended to when you ask for it. Ask boldly, believingly, without a second thought. People who “worry their prayers” are like wind-whipped waves. Don’t think you’re going to get anything from the Master that way, adrift at sea, keeping all your options open.
Dear Ones: He Loves to Help! Yes, our Almighty God not only is able to help you, but it is one of His great passions to do so. When you seek His help concerning anything in your life, He will never belittle you for asking. James says to ask with bold faith. Don’t even consider that your problem is too difficult for Him. Jeremiah 32:17 gives you a witness to this truth. “Ah, Lord God! Behold, You have made the heavens and the earth by Your great power and outstretched arm. There nothing too hard for You.”
When you read the Bible, ask the Holy Spirit to open your understanding to the truth it contains. Don’t read the Word of God like a textbook or a storybook. Read it like it is a special communication written to you by the Lord God, Himself. In the annotated bibles that colorize the Lord’s words in red, read those passages as if He is speaking directly to you. The living power of God’s presence will be released to you when you approach the Scriptures this way. Hebrews 4:12 confirms, “For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.”
Therefore, declare today that, “He loves to help me. I am not alone. He is almighty and desires to work in me, through me and for me. I am an overcomer through Christ who strengthens me and my loved ones. I will not allow worry or confusing into my thoughts, since I have the mind of Christ.” I bless you in Jesus’ name.
