2 Many are they who say of me, “There is no help for him in God.” Selah 3 But You, O Lord, are a shield for me, My glory and the One who lifts up my head. 4 I cried to the Lord with my voice, And He heard me from His holy hill. Selah
Dear Ones: He Heard Me! The tormentor’s voice whispers in your ear that there is no help for you. HA! But he is a liar. The Lord hears your cry in the night hours as you weep on your pillow. If He hears you then we have 1 John 5:14-15 to encourage us. “Now this is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. And if we know that He hears us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we have asked of Him.”
He is the One Who lifts up our heads in times of great distress. As a shield, His presence surrounds us and quenches the fiery darts of the attacks of the wicked one. Every knee of sickness, disease, sin, and distressing spirit must bow to the King of Glory. He is the lifter of our heads, and He has heard our calls for help. Psalm 118:5, NLT, confirms to us, “In my distress I prayed to the Lord, and the Lord answered me and set me free.”
May you declare today, “He Heard Me!” Believe with confidence that if He hears you, then He will give you the answers to your situation. He loves your faith-filled words as you turn to Him in times of trouble. Lean on His strong shoulders and rest in His goodness. He is able to take care of what concerns you today. In Him you overcome, because Light overcomes darkness. I bless you in Jesus’ name.
