But God’s truth stands firm like a great rock, and nothing can shake it. It is a foundation stone with these words written on it: “The Lord knows those who are really his,” and “A person who calls himself a Christian should not be doing things that are wrong.”
Dear Ones: God’s Truth! It is a foundation stone upon which we are to build our lives. The Lord knows the depth of our hearts. He knows who is really His. And just like a natural Father, He expects His children to represent Him to the world. I remember my grandmother saying that you can tell a lot about a family by the way their children are dressed and cared for.
Our loving Father did not withhold anything from us according to Romans 8:32, NKJV. “He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things?” Should we not consider our ways and represent our Savior by following His commands? God’s truth is an immutable foundation or rock that will keep us through the storms of life.
Declare: “I choose to represent God’s truth in my daily life. Help me, to represent the goodness of my Savior in my words and actions. Assist me to influence others to live right and to bring glory to King Jesus and not scorn. Praise the Lord!” Have a safe and blessed weekend in Jesus’ name.
