God Commands the Blessing

How wonderful, how beautiful, when brothers and sisters get along! It’s like costly anointing oil flowing down head and beard, Flowing down Aaron’s beard, flowing down the collar of his priestly robes. It’s like the dew on Mount Hermon flowing down the slopes of Zion. Yes, that’s where God commands the blessing, ordains eternal life.
Psalm 133 (MSG)

Dear Ones: God Commands the Blessing! In the place called Unity in Christ. The Lord Jesus reaffirmed this truth in John 13:34-35, NKJV. “A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another; as I have loved you, that you also love one another. By this all will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another.” It is the love for Christ and of Christ that is the unifying force that holds the Body of Christ together.

It would seem that this would be an easy thing to accomplish between those who claim the Lord as their Savior. But it is not easy to walk in unity and love even among the brethren. Everyone in Christ operates at their own level of spiritual growth similar to the way grades are marked in elementary schools. However, levels of spiritual maturity are not as easily discernible as the groups that are separated by natural age and development. This is why our love walk is essential to our Christian lives. When we operate in a spirit of love, we find ourselves located in a place where God commands the blessing of His Kingdom to be showered upon us.

Allow the Spirit of Love to lead you to the place of unity where God commands the blessings. Ask the Spirit to give you a discerning heart to know how to deal with others especially other Christians. He knows the depth of every soul and will guide you to the place of blessing. Have an overcoming day. I bless you in Jesus’ name.
