At that time you won’t need to ask me for anything, for you can go directly to the Father and ask him, and he will give you what you ask for because you use my name.
Dear Ones: Go Directly to the Father! The Lord Jesus is our open door to go directly to the Father and ask Him for what we need in His name. We do not have to find a human intermediary because we have a heavenly Advocate, Christ. He is the Door for us, His sheep, to enter into the very throne room and meet with the Father. Hebrews 4:16, TLB, invites us to use our direct access. “So let us come boldly to the very throne of God and stay there to receive his mercy and to find grace to help us in our times of need.”
During the time of the Lord’s earth-bound ministry, He rebuked the Pharisees for hindering the people from going to God as in Luke 11:52, GNT. “How terrible for you teachers of the Law! You have kept the key that opens the door to the house of knowledge; you yourselves will not go in, and you stop those who are trying to go in!” He revealed the Fatherhood of God to the people and His desire to reconcile mankind back to Himself. As children of God, Christ’s followers, have access to the Father just like natural children have to their natural dads.
Today, go directly to the Father in Jesus’ name and spend time with Him in the throne room. Seek His grace and help, and then love on Him before you leave. He enjoys quality time with you as you share your heart of love for Him. It is a good day to hang out with your Father. I bless you in Jesus’ name.
