Fruit Bearers

You didn’t choose me, remember; I chose you, and put you in the world to bear fruit, fruit that won’t spoil. As fruit bearers, whatever you ask the Father in relation to me, he gives you.
John 15:16 (MSG)

Dear Ones: Fruit Bearers! We are called to bear or produce good Kingdom fruit. In the natural world, fruit is the product of the work of branches. The branches draw their life from the main vine or plant and then use its life force to produce fruit. This is why in John 15:5, NKJV, Jesus declared. “I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing.”

Christians are called to produce Kingdom fruit in their lives. The fruits of the Divine Nature of Christ are fruits of a righteous life: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, meekness, and self-control. We not only bear Kingdom fruit but get to partake of the fruit that comes from our relationship with Christ. The natural branch cannot do this, but as a spiritual branch grafted into Christ we do. The joy we receive as fruit bearers cannot be taken from us for it is part of our testimony of His faithfulness to us.

Declaration: “I am one of the Fruit Bearers commissioned by the Lord to produce fruits of righteousness in my life. The good Kingdom fruit that comes forth feeds me and those who are in my sphere of influence. I abide in Him and I bear much fruit for my Savior and King. It is a good day to be fruitful in every good work.” Have a blessed day in Jesus’ name.
