Five Loaves and the Two Fish

16 Then He took the five loaves and the two fish, and looking up to heaven, He blessed and broke them, and gave them to the disciples to set before the multitude. 17 So they all ate and were filled, and twelve baskets of the leftover fragments were taken up by them.

Luke 9

Dear Ones: Five Loaves and the Two Fish! Yes, the Lord fed the multitudes with these; they all ate and were full. Multiplication is the order of the Kingdom of God. There is an abundance so great that the leftovers are plentiful too. The natural world system looks at resources from a fear mentality. Scarcity and lack is the order of their system. Fabricated shortages are a means to manipulate and control. But the Kingdom of Heaven’s resources are unlimited.

Twice in the Scriptures we read where the Lord fed a multitude of people from meager resources. The people ate until they were full yielding many leftovers. Wherever the Lord went He taught about and demonstrated the Kingdom. He instructed His disciples to pray for the Kingdom to come and the will of the Father to be done in the earth. Since we are kingdom children, why should we operate in fear about our supplies? If He abundantly provides for the birds of the air, then He will provide for His children with plenty leftovers to share with other.

May your five loaves and two fish multiply in your storehouse. Let these words go deep into your soul so you can reap abundantly when the world lacks. Remember, Kingdom resources are always available through faith in Him. Have an abundant day. I bless you in Jesus’ name.
