First and The Last

The Lord God says, “I am the First and the Last, the beginning and the end of all things. I am the All-powerful One Who was and Who is and Who is to come.”
Revelation 1:8 (NLV)

Dear Ones: The First and the Last! He is the beginning and the end of creation. We must continually remind ourselves of Who He Is. The encroaching darkness wants to distract us from the Truth. He is Truth; He cannot lie. The Words of Life reveal Who He says He is and He only speaks the Truth. The dark one is the liar; it all started with him. He is a shadow being that can only copy and corrupt the things of God.

The Lord God spoke the worlds into existence. He released His Word of power and It created and achieved what it was sent to do. When we speak His Word and declare His works in our lives power is released. This power is inherent in His Word because He is all-powerful. He can only give what He has: power, truth, love, joy, peace, kindness, goodness, and the rest of the fruits of His divine nature.

The Apostle John was instructed to write down what he heard and saw. Therefore, that means God wanted us to know these things and to use His words against the enemy. The Word of God is a divine weapon and ammunition to use against the forces of darkness. Like the military, we are to continually resupply our ammunition so that we can be ready and armed when the attacks come.

May you rejoice in His words, “I am the First and the Last.” Your all-powerful Father will never forsake you. He is in this until the end. And He has already determined victory as the outcome of this war between the Light and the darkness. Think on these things this weekend and enjoy being His child. I bless you in Jesus’ name.

  1. Hey, you used to write great, but the last few posts have been kinda boring… I miss your great writings. Past several posts are just a little out of track! come on!

    • I sit with the Holy Spirit and listen to what comes up in my spirit. Then I record what I hear. Not every topic will appeal to everyone. I thank you for your kind words. I continue to pursue what the Spirit says. We are all on a journey to become more Christ-like in our walk. I pray that you will prosper in this endeavor too. Blessings & Courage in Jesus’ name.

  2. Thanks for every other excellent article. The place else may just anyone get that type of info in such a perfect approach of writing? I’ve a presentation next week, and I’m on the look for such info.
