Everlasting Arms

The eternal God is your refuge, and his everlasting arms are under you. He drives out the enemy before you; he cries out, ‘Destroy them! … Then Peter opened his mouth, and said, Of a truth I perceive that God is no respecter of persons:

Deuteronomy 33:27 (NLT); Acts 10:34 (KJV)

Dear Ones: Everlasting Arms! Rest in His everlasting arms is what Moses told the Israelites. Since the Lord is no respecter of persons, these words are for all of His children who believe in Him and cling to salvation through the Cross of Christ. Our covenant in the Blood of Christ is far better than what the Israelites had in Moses’ day. Envision His strong everlasting arms holding you close to His chest. This is a place of safety; He is your refuge in times of troubles.

Everyday challenges are the ones that try to wear you down. The enemies of fear, doubt, unbelief, and depression are more real than an invading army. These enemies get into your thoughts and try and control your life. But as His most precious child, you can rest in His arms letting His peace and comfort carry you through to victory. It is a good day to be reminded of His strong arms and how He fights for you every day.

May you find peace and comfort resting in His everlasting arms today. Let the truth of these words saturate your soul. It is true that through our God we are more than conquerors. Enjoy your weekend as you rest in Him. I bless you in Jesus’ name.
