Embrace the Truth

Jesus said to those Jews who believed in him, “When you continue to embrace all that I teach, you prove that you are my true followers. For if you embrace the truth, it will release true freedom into your lives.”
John 8:31-32 (TPT)

Dear Ones: Embrace the Truth! Embrace is to seize eagerly; to lay hold on; to receive or take with willingness that which is offered. When we embrace the words of Christ, they come into us as a living substance. For Hebrews 4:12 reveals to us, “For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.” The Lord also declared that He is the embodiment of Truth. Therefore, when we embrace the truth, we are embracing the Lord.

The truth is not a common commodity in these dark times. Because when truth comes, the darkness is exposed. The Lord wants us to embrace the truth of His teachings so we can walk free no matter what is happening in the world. His words—His Truth—brings freedom, healing, discernment, and many other blessings that are found in His presence. He came to set us free from the oppression of the dark one. That is why He instructed those who believe in Him to embrace the truth of His teachings.

Fill yourself with His word and embrace the truth of His teachings. Believe that His words are alive and powerful and able to set you free. Christ came to set the captives free from the bondage of darkness. Step out into the light of freedom and rejoice. There is no situation in your life that is too difficult for the Lord to handle. You are His precious lamb and an overcomer. I bless you today in Jesus’ name.
