I will shake all nations, and the Desire of All Nations shall come to this Temple, and I will fill this place with my glory,’ says the Lord Almighty.
Dear Ones: Desire of All Nations! This is one of the names of Messiah, Jesus Christ. God says He will shake all nations until they truly desire the coming of King Jesus. In Haggai’s day, there was a Temple in Israel. But today the Body of Christ is the living Temple where His presence resides.
As we observe the shifting and sifting of the leadership of the nations of the world, this verse takes on a current reality. The dark one’s control over the nations of the world is beginning to collapse. As people realize that the wisdom of men is not the answer, they begin to call out to God for answers.
It is important to remember that all shaking is not rooted in darkness. But God will shake the nations and humble them to save them. This is why the Lord Jesus taught us to call for the will of God to be done in the earth as it is in Heaven. His promise is to shake and shake until the nations cry out for the Savior, Jesus Christ. Then He will fill everyone with His glory.
Earnestly pray for the nations to call on the Desire of All Nations to intervene in their affairs. Ask the Father to release the promise of His glory on every tribe, tongue, and nation. Desire the manifest presence of the Lord in your life, your family, and your nation. It is a good day to intercede for your generation and the generations to come.
