All you saints! Sing your hearts out to God! Thank him to his face! He gets angry once in a while, but across a lifetime there is only love. The nights of crying your eyes out give way to days of laughter.
Dear Ones: Days of Laughter! Oh, that sounds very good. A good belly laugh is like a refreshing rain on a hot day. Proverbs 17:22a, AMPC, tells us, “A happy heart is good medicine and a cheerful mind works healing.” This is why the enemy tries so hard to get us to focus on all the negative things he is throwing at us. But we must remind ourselves that he is a liar. There is no ounce of truth in his fallen being. Sometimes the only thing we can do when hard situations arise is to laugh at them. It’s how you treat the schoolyard bully’s taunting words.
If you know Who it is that lives in you, then the enemy’s intimidation tactics begin to fall apart. The Lord Jesus took everything the evil one can attack with on the Cross. He paid the price so you can be free. You are to enforce His victory every time the darkness encroaches on your life.
