“But look!” he said. “I see four men, walking around freely in the fire, completely unharmed! And the fourth man looks like a son of the gods!”
Dear Ones: Completely Unharmed! The Lord shows up to protect those who are faithful to Him. Nebuchadnezzar was astonished as he witnessed this event. His anger turned to amazement and fear. The faith of the Hebrew men would not bow to worship him, so he heated the fire 7 times hotter. He watches to see and enjoy the fire that was supposed to devour the four. But God stepped in and performed a sign and wonder for all to see.
Sometimes we feel that we have be dump into the fire because of the situations we are facing. As we look at our circumstances with natural eyes, it appears that we will be overwhelmed by them. But we are to take a lesson from the 4 Hebrew men and focus our gaze and faith on the One Who is able to quench the fire and deliver us.
For example, when the word “incurable” is spoken over our situation, it is like that fiery furnace. When the word “bankruptcy” is spoken over our finances, it is like that fiery furnace. But believers have a promise that the Lord will never forsake them or leave them as orphans to fend for themselves. He walks through the fire and the valley of death with us guiding us out of the wilderness. Yes, we come out completely unharmed and full of a great testimony of His saving hand.
Declaration: “The fire of my situation will not destroy me; I will come out completely unharmed. In fact, the Lord will prosper me in ways I have not imagined. I am an overcomer because the Lord is my traveling companion as I walk the path of my life. Thank you, Lord, for my deliverance.” Have a blessed and overcoming day in Jesus’ name.
