Behold The Lamb

And they shall take some of the blood and put it on the two doorposts and on the lintel of the houses where they eat it. … The next day John saw Jesus coming toward him, and said, “Behold The Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world!”
Exodus 12:7; John 1:29 (NKJV)

Dear Ones: Behold The Lamb! Saturday, April12, 2025, the Jewish people will observe Passover. They will partake of the Seder meal and celebrate leaving the slavery of Egypt. God instructed them to kill the Passover lambs and mark their doors with the blood. This was done as a foreshadowing of the crucifixion of Christ, the only sinless man who was sent to take away the sin of the world.

Father God’s great plan of salvation required that all justice be fulfilled in order for mankind to be reconciled back to Him. We should never take the remembrance of the Cross of Christ as a simple thing. When we look at the Cross in faith, we are to behold The Lamb Who willingly paid the wages of sin for the entire human race. The enormity of this act boggles the natural mind.

However, He is not still on the Cross. He paid the wages of sin once for all and then rose from the dead on Resurrection Day. Those who call Him Lord are grafted into His body. Believers are given the right to exercise His authority over all the forces of darkness that He defeated through the Cross. Keep these things in mind as you finish out this week.

Declare: “I will behold The Lamb of God continually as I walk the path of life with Him. He is the blood marked Door of the new covenant that I enjoy with Him and in Him. Thank You, Father, for Your great plan of salvation which I partake of every day. I give you my heart filled with gratitude and praise as I celebrate the Lord’s victory. Happy Resurrection Day!” Have a blessed day in Jesus’ name.
